We're putting in an order for sunshine this weekend. It will take two days to get here, just like Amazon Prime. This morning's steady rain has been pushing eastward. Showers will gradually diminish overnight. A shower or two can't be ruled out tomorrow as another weak disturbance passes through. The majority of the day will just be mostly cloudy and chilly with highs in the mid 40s. Conditions continue to improve. It will be a super Groundhog Day with the return of sunshine and the beginning of a big time warm up.
A sprawling ridge of high pressure will hoist highs into upper 50s and lower 60s early next week. Monday will remain dry with increasing clouds. Rain, possibly a storm or two, will be around through the middle of next week. Following several days of above-normal temperatures, highs will send back closer to normal by the end of next week.
