SLADE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating a crash that left two people dead in Powell County.
Kentucky State Police tells us on Saturday night, that a motorcyclist identified as Gary Evans of Mount Vernon, was riding on KY 77.
Police say he tried to turn onto Highway 15 South near Slade, but collided with a Toyota pickup.
Police say Evans and his passenger, Bonnie Kaylor from Mount Vernon, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was also injured, and transported to a hospital in Winchester.
