LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - — The Kentucky football program is mourning the loss of beloved former quarterback Jared Lorenzen.
Lorenzen passed away Wednesday following several days battling multiple health issues. UK Football took the opportunity to remember the former standout in a video of some of his most memorable plays. Lorenzen played for the Wildcats from 2000-2003. He remained one of Big Blue Nation's most loyal superfans.
ESPN also took the time to remember Lorenzen's life in a documentary short.
"He will remain forever one of the football legends of the Bluegrass State."
