LEXINGTON, Ky. — The opening weekend of the 2020 Kentucky softball schedule is set, as the Wildcats are set to compete in the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association Division I Lead-Off Classic at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.

Kentucky will play four regular-season games to open the season and one exhibition against Team USA from Feb. 7-9 in the Sunshine State.

The 2020 season will kick off on Friday, Feb. 7 at Noon ET as Kentucky will face Liberty followed by a 2:30 p.m. ET matchup with Texas State, with both games on field No. 3.

Kentucky will face its first power-five opponent of the season in NC State on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. ET. That game will take place on field No. 1 and will be UK’s only regular season matchup of the day.
