We’re still dealing with one more cold morning before we can begin the warm up this week. Temperatures are going to plummet overnight due to the cold air in place, and the eventual clearing from the cloud canopy that’s been sitting over us all day. Today, it’s been cold to chilly and that’s really about it.

Due to the expected sub-freezing temperatures Wednesday morning, a FREEZE WARNING will be in effect until 9:00 am, when temperatures will finally be above freezing. This time they’ll stay above freezing through the entire 8-day forecast. Sensitive vegetation should be protected or brought indoors until tomorrow afternoon. The sun will be shining bright tomorrow and that will initiate the warm up. Progressing high pressure will continue to shift wind direction and when it flourishes from the south, the warmth will really have a chance to kick in by the end of the work week!
