Oh no, not again. A springtime clipper sweeping currently through the Upper Midwest. Parts of Iowa could receive six to eight inches of snow. Areas of around the Great Lakes will also be impacted by rain, snow, and ice. The good new for us is this system will have a small impact on precipitation chances – spotty shower, possibly a flurry overnight. Meanwhile, we’ll really feel it on the temperature side! We are tracking a 20-degree drop by tomorrow.? Highs will go from the low 70s today to near 50 degrees Thursday.

The cooler air won’t keep us down for long. High pressure will build back in starting tomorrow. Temperatures will gradually warm through the end of the work week. The weekend will kick off an extended stretch with in the 60s. The trend will keep temperatures close to normal during this stretch. A few more showers will creep back in early next week.
