Will it be another "Kentucky Soaks?" Will you need to bet on a mudder on Saturday? Maybe both this year. We are tracking rounds of unsettled weather over the next several days as a cold front moves out of the Central Plains.

For Oaks, showers and storms will be off and on throughout the day. There will be some dry, but still plan to dress for wet conditions. There is a small chance that some of these storms could be on the strong side Friday afternoon. Gusty winds will be the primary threat. Showers will gradually taper off through the night. But a slower passage of the cold front will keep showers in the forecast for Derby Day. However, the Bluegrass will have a greater chance for rain than Louisville. Passing showers will be possible across central and eastern Kentucky on Saturday. The clouds and showers will also keep us on the cooler side with highs in the low to mid 70s.
