It’s not the prettiest of days and the MaxTrack is certainly getting it’s workout. We’re tracking storms across the Commonwealth in scattered fashion. Most are typical to strong and dropping copious amounts of rain amongst hail, lightning, and wind. Cloud coverage has kept temperatures down a bit more. Most locations have stayed in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon.

We’re tracking a stormy Election Day. We’ll continue to see storms fire off out ahead of a cold front slated to move through early tomorrow. As it does, the forecast will change for a few days. Heat and humidity will both be knocked down slightly, but the bigger change will be the lack of thunderstorms. High pressure after the front will keep clouds from building enough to really get anything going. So we’re looking at three dry to mostly dry days to wrap up the work week. Active weather looks to return over Memorial Day weekend.
