A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been extended to include the Bluegrass. This watch will continue until 6 PM.
A watch means that conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms to develop. We have already tracked a few severe thunderstorms across central Kentucky today. Damaging winds and torrential rain will remain the primary threats as repeated rounds of thunderstorms track through central and eastern Kentucky this afternoon and evening.
