Catching a Break

After days of stormy and muggy conditions, we are finally catching a break! A cold front that tracked through last night brought the last round of storms for a few days. Some "drier" air will begin to work in throughout the day. Despite the drop in humidity, it will remain warm today with highs in the lower 80s.

Enjoy it while it lasts! The muggies make a come back tomorrow. High pressure will be the dominant weather feature over the coming days. Dew points and temperatures will be on the rise again as the ridge slides eastward. We are also tracking our first heat wave of the summer to begin tomorrow. The heat will get cranked up into the lower 90s over the weekend. Combine that with higher humidity, it will feel close to the triple digits, especially on Father’s Day.
