Heat and humidity are again the dominant factor in today’s weather pattern, but the good news is, we have some showers/storms to help cool us down. Scattered activity around the state is bringing small areas heavy rain and some lightning. Otherwise, you’re hot, humid, and hoping for some shade.
The next several days will show a big change in the forecast. Temperatures are on the decline and rain chances are boosting up. Lower pressure will allow cumulus to build (even more so than today) and eventual thunderstorms will be the result. Each day brings a chance for scattered thunderstorms, so don’t expect a washout, but a passing shower may put a damper on some plans. Best to have an umbrella handy for the rest of the work week and into the weekend.
