We are stuck on the rinse cycle. The combo of an upper-level low and a cold front will bring more rain and storms today. Rounds of showers and storms will rotate through the Bluegrass throughout the day. We are tracking the potential for heavy rain and gusty winds with afternoon rounds in particular. Activity will eventually spiral out of the area this evening.
Additional rounds of showers and storms are in the weekend forecast. With the cold front off to our east Saturday will be a better outside day. We are tracking only an isolated afternoon storm chance. Another disturbance will wiggle northward Saturday night and Sunday. Storm chance will get bumped back up to close the weekend, but the day still won’t be a washout.
