It isn’t going to be the prettiest of weekends, but at least it’s not expected to be a washout. Still, cloudy skies, warm and muggy days, and the occasional thunderstorms is a recipe for indoor weather. Conditions are starting mild and muggy this morning and will end warm and humid this afternoon.
We’re tracking a calm start to the weekend, but more storms are expected as we get through the next few days. Scattered thunderstorms will be around this afternoon, but the better chance for storms will actually fall on Sunday. So out of the two days, today will be best for any outdoor plans. Still, be aware that storms will form and bring heavy rain with wind through the afternoon. I guess I should say enjoy the “cooler” temperatures while we have them. Another heat wave is on the way as we approach the end of the upcoming work week and next weekend.
