Today was the hottest day of 2018 yet, and the 3rd hottest July 4th on record. We are tracking one more steamy day tomorrow with highs in the low 90s with the heat index near 100°. Relief is in sight. It will come in the form of a cold front on Friday. A few storms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening. Storms will be more likely Friday as the boundary sinks south. An airmass that is slightly cooler and more comfortable arrives this weekend. And the cherry on top, sunshine will reign this weekend too.
