It was a steamy, steamy one today, but this will be the last one for a few days. We are tracking some changes that are heading our way in the form of thunderstorms and a cold front. A complex of storms along the boundary will fizzle as it dives into the Commonwealth. But as the front settles into southern Kentucky tomorrow, the coverage of thunderstorms will pick back up through the first half of the day tomorrow. Activity will become more scattered during the later parts of the day.

More comfortable air awaits on the backside. The weekend will feature more tolerable heat and humidity. We are tracking lows in the 60s instead of the 70s, and highs will be about ten degrees cooler. And the cherry on top, we are also tracking sunny skies all weekend long. More sunny days are on the way next week. Temperatures will also be heating back up.

You can track the incoming storms, and the changes in the air on the *free* LEX 18 StormTracker Weather app.
