A Perfect Summer Weekend

A weekend forecast doesn’t get any better than this in early July! Today’s storms and passing cold front will wipe away the oppressive heat and humidity that we have battled the past few days. We will start to feel the change as early as tonight. We are tracking drier air to arrive which will clear our skies and allow lows to settle into the lower 60s overnight. It may feel a little cool while your enjoying your morning coffee tomorrow.

High pressure across the Great Lakes will re-enforce the pleasant conditions this weekend, keeping temperatures and humidity levels more manageable. Highs will top off into the low to mid 80s both Saturday and Sunday. Dew points will plummet from the 70s Friday afternoon to the 50s Saturday. It will get a little muggier Sunday, but it will still be tolerable. And the cherry on top, we are tracking lots of sunshine and next to nothing storm chances.

A warming trend will send highs closer to 90 degrees by the middle of next week. The muggies will also make a return. More sunshine and low storm chances will make for some good pool days by the time the higher heat and humidity return.
