You couldn’t ask for a nicer start to play in the Barbasol Championship! But unfortunately, as is life, all good things must come to an end.

We are tracking an unusually strong system for this time of year to pull into the Ohio Valley tomorrow. The cold front will spark a round of strong and severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening. The LEX 18 StormTracker Severe Threat Index will be elevated to a Level 1. Damaging winds will be the primary threat, but all other severe modes, including flooding, will be on the table.? The severe threat will transition to a heavy rain/flooding threat on Saturday. A low will sit and spin over Michigan this weekend. This set-up will allow waves of rain and storms to track through the Bluegrass. One to two inches of rain, with locally higher amounts, will be possible through Sunday.
