We’re tracking (and feeling) more like it should this time of the year with temperatures reaching the mid-80s along with an uptick in humidity. Skies have been mostly to partly sunny for the Bluegrass and more cloud coverage sits over the eastern counties. A few small showers are all that’s left of a small departing low moving east.Thursday promises more sunshine with a quick-hitting uptick in pressure. Temperatures will have a chance to warm due to the abundant sunshine, so expect a warm and humid Thursday. Friday will be another change in the forecast with a small cold front that will bring a cooler pattern for the last weekend of July. Clouds will increase along with a better chance for precipitation. That being said, showers/storms that do develop Friday will be “hit and miss.” As the front slides through, drier air will filter in and you’ll feel the difference. This weekend is shaping up to be a very nice one with temperatures only reaching the low 80s, plenty of sunshine, and lower humidity!
