A stubborn stationary boundary will gradually ease up on showers and storms through the back half of the work week. Most of the activity will be concentrated across the southeastern counties tomorrow and Friday. Meanwhile for the Bluegrass we are tracking the potential for isolated to widely scattered storms, mainly during the afternoon.
The clouds and rounds of rain and storms have kept temperatures below-normal. The temperature trend will start moving in an upward direction as we will finally kick this unsettled set-up this weekend. Temperatures will be more typical for early August in the mid to upper 80s.
