Thinning clouds and clear skies have led to the development of
dense fog over parts of the area, particularly in the river
valleys. This fog will reduce visibilities to below a quarter of a
mile in spots through sunrise. Look for the fog to start to break
up and lift toward 9 am EDT. Motorists need to be on the look out
for sudden changes in visibility. Allow extra time to reach your
destination this morning and use low beam headlights.
