At 608 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Wheelersburg to near Load to near
Gesling. Movement was east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 45 mph are possible with these storms. This may
be enough to bring down small limbs and weakly rooted or diseased
trees.

Locations impacted include…
Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Lake Vesuvius, Cannonsburg, Greenup,
Princess, Coalton, Gesling, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Naples, Load,
Franklin Furnace, Carter, Flatwoods, Russell, Raceland, Worthington
and Wurtland.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
