We have made it to the other side. The mid-week cold front has finally cleared, and now we get to enjoy a mini dry stretch. While storm chances have lowered, but the mugginess hasn’t. Even tonight it will feel muggy with lows in the upper 60s to near 70°. Some patchy fog will be possible again tomorrow morning.

We will track a muggy day Friday with only a chance for pop-up storms. The best chance for those storms will be across southern Kentucky. Isolated thunderstorms will creep back in over the weekend as another cool front takes a run at the Bluegrass. As by nature, some of us will see a storm while others won’t. Overall it will be another fairly typical summer weekend with highs in the mid 80s. Shower and storm chances will pick up into early next week with a low nearby.
