An extended soggy stretch is just getting started. We are tracking multiple rounds of rain and storms to track through the Bluegrass between now and early next week.

While it has been mainly rain so far today, we are tracking the potential for a few gusty storms for the rest of the day. The LEX 18 StormTracker Severe Threat Index will remain at a "0."  Heavy rain will remain the primary threat with 1-3" possible over the coming days. The highest totals are expected near the Ohio River, where a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect, with southeastern counties on the lower end of the range.

With all this rain the forecast, your lawn will surely need cut. We are tracking a break from the persistent wet weather late in the weekend before more showers and storms get going again early next week. A cold front on Tuesday will finally wash everything out. An awesome stretch is set to follow with sunshine, warm temperatures, and low humidity.
