A brief break from hot & steamy late summer weather is tracking our way. We’re still muggy and in the upper 80s midweek but watch for a few showers & storms Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon & evening. Showers & storms are likely Thursday as a weak cold front sweeps southeast. The severe storm threat is low but we may see a few strong cells and locally heavy rain. Expect highs in the low to mid 80s Thursday-Friday.
