Rain from Gordon isn’t done yet. We are still tracking a couple more waves of torrential rain and strong storms through this evening. The LEX 18 StormTracker Severe Threat Index will remain at a Level 1, or a slight risk.

Flood warnings and a Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect through this evening. Additional bursts of heavy rain will agitate the flooding situation. A few strong storms will also be possible across southeastern Kentucky. Damaging winds will be the greatest threat.

We are tracking the widespread rain to start winding down later tonight. Areas west of I-75 will see the rain end first. By late Monday morning rain will have ended for the entire Commonwealth. We will get a taste of fall to start the week with highs in the low to mid 70s.
