Lingering Showers Monday

After being swamped by waves of torrential rain & strong to severe storms from the remnants of Gordon over the weekend we’ll catch a quieter break for the next few days. Monday will be mostly cloudy and cool with well below average highs around 70°. We’ll also see lingering sprinkles & light showers (especially east) as low pressure finally tracks northeast into Ohio and out of here. High pressure briefly takes over Tuesday with a little more sunshine on the way.

All eyes then turn to Florence and the potential landfall of a major hurricane along the Carolina coast later this week.
