For the second time in a little over a week we’re getting soaked by the remnants of a tropical system. Unlike the torrential rain & flash flooding from Gordon the remnants of Florence will be a little less impactful. Watch for rounds of showers & isolated t-showers Monday with highs mired in the 70s and a gusty and overcast afternoon. Rainfall could push 1″ to 2″+ but most locations should stay under 1″.

The low formerly known as Florence clips eastern Kentucky Monday then tracks northeast & out of here Tuesday as it transitions to extra-tropical. After that? Another ridge of high pressure & above average heat mid to late week. We’re mostly sunny & dry Tuesday through Friday with highs soaring back into the 80s, pushing 90° Wed/Thu.
