Florence is out of here! It transitioned to extra-tropical overnight and will spend Tuesday swamping Mid-Atlantic & New England states with heavy rain. We’ll end up partly sunny with a slim chance for isolated showers lingering in the morning east and popping up this afternoon again. With more sunshine highs will jump into the mid 80s Tuesday.
High pressure and an active storm track north across the Great Lakes means we’re in for some above average heat with consistent mid to upper 80s through Friday. Our next chance for active weather is this weekend. Scattered showers, storms and cooler highs are tracking our way for the autumnal equinox and unfortunately- the MS State at UK game.
