Beyond a few showers drifting east it’s been a quiet Friday morning. We’re in for an active second half of the day though as a cold front pushes showers and storms our way. Watch for a line of strong storms to fire over southern Indiana and track southeast across the Ohio River into the viewing area late this afternoon into this evening.
A few storms could produce damaging wind gusts and hail- the severe threat index remains at 1, a slight risk. This is not a significant severe weather threat but one that does bear watching- especially if you have outdoor plans.
