The rain is finally ending! A cold front is pushing through central Kentucky. The boundary may spark a few more showers across eastern counties as it moves through. We are tracking a mostly dry day Thursday. Southeastern counties, in particular, will have a chance for a few more showers. Outside of those small shower chances, clouds will still be a little pesky tomorrow. Like today, clouds will rule but every once in a while sunshine will try and poke through. Not to worry, better days are ahead.

Lexington is likely to come up just short of the wettest September on record. Already Blue Grass Airport has reported over ten inches of rain. The record is 10.25″ from 2006. We will be sitting pretty through the end of the month as high pressure fills in. Not only will sunshine make a return, but we are also tracking cool mornings and pleasant afternoons with highs in the 70s. Weather for the Cats’ game on Saturday couldn’t be better for late September. Sunday is really good too!
