Thursday’s StormTracker forecast is trending more pessimistic as low pressure tracks northeast and throws more rain at the Commonwealth. Showers will be likely southeast with coverage dropping off toward northern Kentucky. Expect a mostly cloudy and dreary day with highs struggling to get out of the mid to upper 60s.

Beyond that- we’re looking MUCH better with with sunshine and highs in the 70s this weekend. A spectacular way to wrap up what has been an incredibly wet September. If showers are robust enough across the Bluegrass today we could set a new record for Lexington’s wettest September on the books.
