The LEX 18 StormTracker Threat Index has been raised to a Level 1 for the threat of heavy rain and flooding over the next two days. Areas north of I-64 are at the greatest risk for localized flooding.

Rain is just beginning in a number of areas. 1.5″ to 2.5″ of rain has already been reported in parts of Franklin and Scott counties. By Friday these same areas could receive up to four inches of rain. Totals will be lower for southeastern counties.
