Welcome back to standard time. Sunrise is at 7:07 AM. And it’s a beauty!

We are tracking early sunshine to give way to more clouds late-day. It will also be a breezy and milder day with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A few showers will try to sneak in overnight. This is the beginning of an active stretch. We are tracking a strong cold front to arrive Monday night. There is the potential for a line strong to severe thunderstorms through Tuesday morning. Given the nature of these linear storms, damaging wind gusts along with isolated spin-up tornadoes will be possible. Heavy rain and flash flooding will also be a threat.

The front will race through the Bluegrass Tuesday morning. Storms will quickly track east on Election Day. Skies will remain mostly cloudy and it will stay windy as you head to the polls.
