November is typically when we start to see our first chances for winter weather tracking our way. The problem with early season snow- you’ve got to sync up moisture and sufficient cold air and many times it just doesn’t pan out.

Case in point, our incoming Monday-Tuesday round of active weather. The bulk of it will be cold rain setting in Monday afternoon/evening. Expect highs in the 40s Monday and lows around freezing overnight. As colder air wraps in early Tuesday morning watch for a transition from rain to a brief rain/snow mix. If anyone sees minor accumulation it’ll likely stay over far N/NW counties across the river into southern Indiana. Most of us are in for a wet, potentially slick commute tomorrow morning with lingering low clouds and drizzle.
