Slightly “warmer” air, read as air temperatures that are a degree or two above freezing, is tracking northward. As it does so areas that have been seeing sleet are transitioning over to freezing rain. It’s now a cold rain down south of the Cumberland and Hal Rogers Parkways.
Slippery road conditions may develop. Bridges and overpasses will become slick first. Use caution if you will be traveling this evening.
