We’re briefly raising the LEX 18 severe threat index to 1 Tuesday morning due to a potentially icy & hazardous commute from freezing drizzle and light ice accumulation. Most pavement temperatures are still above freezing- this is mainly an issue for bridges & overpasses. Use caution when you head out and slow down! A winter weather advisory is in effect in the Bluegrass and southeastern counties through 10 AM Tuesday.
