Lingering light snow showers and flurries will gradually wind down through mid-morning Wednesday, with most of the scattered coverage over southeastern counties early on. Watch for additional minor accumulation and slick roads. With the overall threat diminishing we will lower the LEX 18 severe threat index back to 0. Expect a partly to mostly sunny and cold Wednesday afternoon with highs around freezing as high pressure tracks in from out west and finally shuts down out latest round of wintry weather.
Beyond that? Buckle up! Significant change is tracking our way this weekend- much wetter and milder weather is inbound.
