Here comes the rain, again. And just in time for the weekend. We are tracking a low to move out of Texas then travel through the Tennessee Valley. Steadier rain has been lifting northward throughout the day. Widespread rain, which could be heavy at times and include rumbles of thunder, will continue tonight as the low tracks closer. The winds will pick up slightly, but your Christmas inflatables should be fine this evening.

Showers will remain off and on throughout the day Saturday as the low tracks by to our southeast. During the afternoon we will see the rain filling in during east to west due to the counter-clockwise circulation around the activity. Activity will gradually taper off by Sunday morning. One to two inches of rain will be possible. Just adding to an already record year for Lexington.
