A cloudy beginning of the weekend didn’t make for the nicest of days, but things stayed dry. Temperatures have been cold due to the stout cloud deck and the best we’ve hit was the upper 30s for afternoon highs. It’s been a quiet weekend so far and will continue to be through tomorrow.
As long as the stalled front pushes eastward, we should get more sun tomorrow. If that happens, temperatures will warm into the upper 40s for highs, but do expect a cold morning with temperatures a little below freezing. The end of the weekend will remain quiet. Clouds increase rapidly as the sun it setting tomorrow ahead of the warm front and storm looking to add more rain to the docket before we end 2018. We’ve already had the wettest year on record with over 70.5” of rain so far, and we could put another 1” to 2” in the books before it’s all said and done. Rain will be abundant through New Year’s Even putting a damper on those hoping to pop firecrackers. Showers will wrap up through the first morning of 2019.
