Here we go again. This morning’s brief was the beginning of another dreary stretch. A Flood Watch goes into effect this evening for most of the area ahead of two straight days of persistent rain. One to three inches of rain is expected through Tuesday. Rain may lead to minor flooding. Periods of heavier rain along with thunderstorms will occur Monday night through Tuesday.
The rain will clear out Tuesday night, but it will also be turning colder. High temperatures will drop from near 60° to the low 40s by Wednesday. Valentine’s Day will be dry before more rain arrives on Friday.
