We might as well start calling it “Wet-ruary.” Precipitation has been recorded eight out of the first twelve days this month, bringing our month-to-date total to just over three and a half inches. After two days on, now we’re getting two days off. The rain may be gone, but the chill is back. Highs will be held to around 40 degrees this afternoon. We are also welcoming back sunshine today.

Valentine’s Day will be dry, and briefly warmer with highs near 60°. Our next active stretch begins late Thursday night. We are tracking periods of rain to close the work week. Colder air will come into play over the weekend. There are chances for rain and snow showers both days. It’s still a bit early to say if any snowfall accumulation will possible. If anything does stick, it will be washed away by the rain. Next Monday will be another rest day before more rain and snow returns for the middle of the week. All the while, temperatures will seasonably chilly with highs ranging from the mid 30s to the mid 40s.
