A Little Icy North Tomorrow Morning

This evening is looking good, just chilly if you’re heading out to cheer on the Cats or if you’re making it a big Saturday night. Skies will become mostly cloudy. Then during the pre-dawn hours we’ll watch showers lift from southwest to northeast across central Kentucky. Areas north of I-64 could see a light glaze of ice due to a brief period of freezing rain at the onset. Everyone else will be “warm” enough just for rain.

It’s more rain for everyone tomorrow. Widespread activity will be around during the morning before everything tapers off into the evening. It will turn chilly again behind this latest batch of showers. While Monday and Tuesday will be mostly dry, highs will only manage the upper 30s to lower 40s. There’s more rain, a lot more rain, to come starting Tuesday night. We’re going to get swamped again. Rain chances are in the forecast Wednesday through next Sunday. There is the potential for several inches of rain, especially across the southern portion of the area.
