Moderate to heavy rain continues Wednesday and with already saturated soil there is nowhere for the runoff to go. Use caution on the roads today- watch for flooding and do not attempt to drive through it if you encounter it. A flood watch remains in effect through Thursday morning. Showers and storms will gradually wind down overnight as a front tracks east and high pressure briefly takes over Thursday. Unfortunately this weekend rounds of heavy rain and the flood threat will ramp back up. We’ll also need to watch for strong to severe storms Saturday into Saturday night.
