First came the rain, next comes the wind. Steady rain will come to an end during the wee hours of the morning. Flooding concerns will continue even once the rain ends. Use extreme caution if you have to travel late tonight.
The wind will get cranked up behind the rain. A Wind Advisory will go into effect for sustained winds of 20-30 mph and frequent gusts of 40-50 mph through Sunday. Given the saturated ground, the gusty conditions could at the least bring down limbs, if not uproot some trees.
