Hopefully you got to enjoy the 60s and sunshine yesterday. We have flipped the switch back to winter today. A cold light rain will continue to fall through this evening. A wintry mix is possible, especially across northern Kentucky. Showers will end later tonight for the Bluegrass. Eastern counties could still a stray shower through early Friday morning.

March will come in like a lion. Not all loud and proud at once. But when it roars you’ll know. The next two days will be relatively tame with clouds and mild temperatures. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s Friday before jumping into the lower 50s to start the weekend. We are tracking rain and snow chances on Sunday followed by a March cold snap. Early next week will frigid. There will be several days where we don’t climb above the freezing mark. Lows will be in the teens, possibly the single digits, and highs will be in the 20s through the middle of next week. Winter isn’t over yet.
