Some little showers have welcomed us to the first full day of spring. Although the cells may be small, some have been rather mighty this afternoon producing briefly heavy rain, gusty winds, and even small hail. Activity will fizzle as a cold front sweeps through this evening.
There will be some re-enforcing shots of cool air behind the front. Highs tomorrow will only reach the upper 40s to low 50s. The weekend will begin cool but end delightful, and it will be dry pretty much from start to finish. The next round of showers will start creeping in Sunday evening. Showers will be around all of Monday and part of Tuesday. The middle of next week won’t be the prettiest – it will be damp and cooler. A nice spring warm-up is on the way though looking towards the end of the week.
