All things considered our first weekend of spring is looking pretty good. Under clearing skies it will get fairly cold tonight with lows dipping into the 20s. Saturday will be cool but feature plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will warm into the 60s on Sunday, but it will come at a price.
A system is currently gathering itself over the Rockies. It will slide into the Southern Plains tomorrow. For us clouds will thicken up and rain chances will be on the rise late Sunday. Showers will slip over into the start of the next work week. Monday will be wettest day. Showers will taper off early Tuesday. Besides another chance for showers next Friday, the upcoming week will be headlined by an up and down temperature trend. Following the early week showers it will turn cooler with highs only in the upper 40s to mid 50s Tuesday and Wednesday. High return to the 60s during the back half of the week.
