A gusty southwest wind will drive Thursday’s highs into the upper 60s to low 70s. We’ll also end up mostly to partly sunny and stay dry for one more day. Take advantage of it. This weekend is trending active and wet. Scattered showers will fire up Friday and rounds of showers and isolated t-showers will soak the Commonwealth this weekend.
Expect Friday through Sunday morning rainfall in the 1″ to 2″ range with the heaviest rain along the Ohio River and the lightest over southeastern counties. Colder air follows the departing system with highs crashing to the 40s Sunday.
