Rain and storms will wrap up after midnight. That was just phase 1. Now comes the temperature drop. As the cold front sliced through the Bluegrass it sent us back to winter. After seeing the 70s today, we’ll start off near 30° tomorrow morning. The good news is we’re dry and sunshine will make a comeback. But that sun won’t help much with highs only in the mid 40s. Talk about polar opposites.
The winter-like chill will hang on into Monday morning. A hard freeze will be possible as temperatures dip into the mid 20s. A Freeze Watch has been issued for areas south of I-64. The growing season has already begun. You’ll want to protect your crops and plants from the chill.
