What a beautiful day! It snowed ahead of last year’s Ashland and Blue Grass Stakes. This year we got some breaks for sunshine with highs in the 70s. We will see the other side of springtime weather tomorrow.

A warm front attached to a low over the Plains will surge northward tonight. Clouds will thicken back up and a band of showers will push in from the southwest by tomorrow morning. While the whole day won’t be a washout, showers will become more numerous into the afternoon. Some strong storms are also possible with damaging winds, locally heavy rain, and some hail. On the plus side it will be warm again with highs in the mid 70s.

There will be a repeat performance of showers with a few storms on Monday. The middle of next week looks great with the return of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures. The next round of showers and thunderstorms will arrive late Thursday.
